International conference on « Community-based projects in Nepal: participative design, traditional knowledge & innovative techniques ».

It is our pleasure to invite you to the International Conference on “Community-based projects in Nepal: participative design, traditional knowledge & innovative techniques” as a result of the collaboration between the University of Washington, College of Built Environment, Landscape Architecture Department, Study Abroad Program and Tribhuvan University, Institute of Engineering, Architecture Department, MSESSD Program. Hosted Monday, May the 21st, 2018 – 13:00 to 17:00 in the green vegetated Pulchowk Campus, Institute of Engineering, by the Department of Architecture, MSESSD Program, the conference will propose presentations of various community-based projects by professionals and a panel discussion with faculty members, to encourage reflexive practices and discussions, linking local projects to research questions and debates. A social gathering / networking time will be hosted at Nepal Communitere (Pulchowk) after the conference.
